Dr. Joseph Ornato is a well-known name in EMS here in Virginia and across the country. If you don’t know him, he’s the Operational Medical Directory (OMD) for Richmond Ambulance Authority (RAA). On a personal note, he also happens to be the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at VCU where Amir and I are in residency.
